How to play

Each day you get a short report of everyday prices from one place: a meal, a litre of milk, gasoline, rent, and so on, plus the last 12 months of inflation. Guess where it is.

You have six guesses. After each one you see:

Distance from your guess to the answer, and an arrow pointing toward it.
Cost of living: whether the answer is cheaper or pricier overall than the place you guessed.
Match: how close you are, as a percentage. 100% is the answer.

Change the currency to one you know, or switch units to imperial. Neither changes the answer. Cities has three puzzles a day; Countries has one.

Prices are estimates of local averages. They are meant to be in the right ballpark, not exact.
